Commenting on reports that the Transport Minister did not attend the latest resilience meeting today and it was confirmed by the First Minister that he has missed others in the past, Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes MSP said:

"The Transport Minister has lurched from one disaster to another this week.

"Not attending today's resilience meeting to discuss plans to keep the country moving while we're on the brink of another cold snap, indicates that he's being sidelined.

"The Transport Minister is on thin ice."
